Do you think God didn't answer your prayers?

Are you struggling because you were believing God would heal your husband....

but then your husband died? He died. That is a sobering truth.

But... please hear me...

GOD DID HEAL YOUR HUSBAND!

You may have been believing for physical healing... but instead, God called him home.

  • You did not fail your husband

  • You did have plenty of faith

  • God is not angry with you

  • God is certainly not punishing you

How do I know?

For a believer, going home is the ultimate healing, it is complete healing.

Your husband is home with Jesus and he is in perfect health!

Standing on the Promises of God

REJOICE in knowing your husband is free from pain, free from tears, free from a failing body... he is full in the presence of the Lord.

Revelation 21:4

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

REJOICE in knowing your husband fulfilled his purpose on earth and is reaping his reward.

Philippians 3:14

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

2 Timothy 4:7-8

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing."

REJOICE in knowing your husband was called home exactly the day and the hour that God had ordained since the beginning of time.

Psalm 139:16

“... all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”

Job 14:5

“A person’s days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.”

Although your husband is free from all pain and tears, being left behind is FULL of pain and tears. I know your pain is real and you are on the hardest journey you will likely ever face. And God knows it too. He understands your pain and He’s the only one that can fix it. He wants to heal your pain... He wants to dry your tears. Cling to Him, rest in Him, follow Him. Bask in His love. He will sit with you, He will comfort you, He will cry with you, and He will heal you. The only caveat is that you must participate... you must surrender... you must give it to Him, listen to His direction, and follow. Stay in the Word, stay in prayer, stay in constant communication with your Lord!

Although it seems impossible, you will feel better and you will feel joy again.

Finding joy in life again does not mean you didn’t love your husband ‘enough’... quite the contrary, I believe we honor our husbands by moving forward and continuing to share the love they gave us.

REJOICE in knowing that God will turn your mourning into dancing.

Psalm 34:18

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Matthew 5:4

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

Luke 6:21

"Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh."

Isaiah 53:4

"Surely he took out pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted."

Psalm 30:11

“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy”

REJOICE in knowing that God still has a plan and a purpose for your life. He will show you the way.

Romans 15:13

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Jeremiah 29:11

“'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”

Hang on to these truths! Feed the truth of God's Word to your spirit daily and the truth will transform you.

Deuteronomy 6:8-9

"Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

Romans 12:2

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Be blessed and know that you are loved with an everlasting love!
